Weekly weigh-in results and TurboFire Month 2 Results!

I gained 0.8 this week. I’m okay but it still sucks because I did everything right last week but sometimes the scale doesn’t go our way. That’s just another reason why we can’t look at only the scale for our results. I’ve lost a ton of inches in the past 2 months and that has made a big difference in how my body looks. I’ve also gained quite a bit of muscle and I know that muscle weighs more than fat and I’m perfectly fine with that.

In my 2nd month of TurboFire I lost 4 pounds and 7.5 inches! That puts me at a total of 9 pounds and 21.5 inches lost since I started TurboFire!!!

Here are my previous measurements:

Chest - 38.0 inches

Bust - 42.0 inches

L. Arm - 15.0 inches

R. Arm - 15.5 inches

Waist - 39.0 inches

Hips - 47.5 inches

Abdomen - 46.0 inches

Thighs - 25.0 inches

Here are my new measurments:

L. Arm - 14.5 inches = -.5 inches

R. Arm - 15.0 inches = -.5 inches

Waist - 37.5 inches = -1.5 inches

Hips - 46.0 inches = -1.5 inches

Abdomen - 45.0 inches = -1 inch

Thighs - 24.5 inches = -.5 inches

Weekly weigh-in results…

I lost 1.2 this week! Today’s weigh-in was a big one for me because the last time that I weighed what I weigh now was in 2006. It makes me a little emotional to think about my progress so far and how much I’ve changed. I know I say it all the time but I really am so proud of myself.

One of my best friends told me last night that I make losing weight look so easy. I took that as a compliment because it’s not easy at all. I have to push myself constantly. The biggest thing that I try to do is to stay positive. If you’re constantly telling yourself that you can’t do it, then you’re not going to be able to. I believe in all of you and I know that you can do whatever you set your mind to. So do yourself a favor and believe in yourself. If you do, I promise you’ll be able to reach all of your goals. I love you all.

Sorry this is a day late. I lost 2.2 pounds! I’ve been extremely busy lately because I started a new job last week so that is why I haven’t been posting too much. I’ve also been spending a lot of time with my husband because he recently got a job working for the railroad so once he actually starts working his schedule is going to be very hectic in the beginning and we won’t be seeing much of each other. No worries though, I’m still continuing to eat healthy and making sure that I’m staying on track. I promise to keep posting as much as I can because I want to continue to share my journey with all of you. <3

I lost 2.0 pounds this week! Yay!

In my first 4 weeks of following the TurboFire schedule I’ve lost 5 pounds and 14 inches! Holy crap! That’s a lot of inches but I’ve worked my butt off for it and I damn well deserve it! I’m so proud of myself for sticking with this. It hasn’t been easy at all and there are some days that I’d rather just skip my workouts but I know that I have to be accountable to myself and to everyone that is following my blog. Thank you for keeping me accountable.

Here are my starting measurements:

Bust - 44.0 inches

L. Arm - 16.5 inches

R. Arm - 17.0 inches

Waist - 41.0 inches

Abdomen - 48.5 inches

Thighs - 26.5 inches

Here are my new measurements:

Total inch loss = 14 inches!

I gained 0.6 and I’m okay with it. I wasn’t okay with it at first though. I was upset because I did everything right this week and I worked my butt off so I was confused by the results. Then I remembered that muscle weighs more than fat and I have been lifting weights a lot lately. It’s also the first time I have gained since July 3rd. I took my measurements on Sunday night just because I wanted to see my results and I’ve lost 8 inches in 3 weeks of doing TurboFire. That serves as a reminder to myself that you tend to lose inches before you lose pounds and I’m okay with that.

I lost 3.4 pounds! I AM SO HAPPY! I’ve been really pushing my body hard lately and it’s nice to see my hard work paying off. It’s paying off in more ways than one though. I’ve noticed that since I started TurboFire my face looks slimmer, my arms are looking smaller, and I’ve been sleeping like a baby. I can’t wait to take my measurements and progress pictures once week 4 is over with.

I lost .2 this week. I’m trying to look at the bright side and I keep telling myself that a loss is still a loss no matter how big or small it is. I drank quite a bit on Saturday night. I have no regrets because I had a ton of fun and drinking isn’t something that I do very often. I’m already back on track and that’s all that matters.

I’m now on week 2 of TurboFire. I’ve loved every workout that I’ve done so far. I also love that I’ve been able to notice that the Fire Drills are becoming easier to do. I’m not struggling to get through the workouts and I look forward to them.

Weekly weigh-in results and TF Day 2

I lost .4 this week. I’m okay with that loss. It’s not what I was expecting since I worked out so much last week and ate healthy but that lovely lady time decided to show up yesterday so therefore I’m very bloated and I know that’s why I didn’t lose more. I usually gain during my time of the month so I’m happy I lost something. A loss is still a loss no matter what and it is definitely better than a gain.

Today’s TurboFire workout was the HIIT 15 class + Stretch 10 class. Holy crap, those HIIT workouts are tough! My heart rate was up really high and I was sweating buckets. I’ll be honest though, I almost skipped today’s because I’m having some really horrible cramps but I decided to attempt the workout anyway and I’m happy I did.

I lost 1.0 pound! :)

My Weight Watchers Meeting Leader commented on my total weight loss today and asked me how I feel about my progress so far. I told her that it’s crazy for me to think about how much weight I’ve lost. I never thought I’d get to where I am today. I’ve gained confidence in myself that I never had before and I’m not nearly as shy as I used to be. I’m so happy and so very proud of myself and I can’t help but get teary-eyed when I think about how far I’ve come.

I lost 3.0 pounds! :)

I wasn’t able to workout at all this week. That just goes to show that eating healthy plays such an important role when it comes to weight loss. Losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise. You can’t out-exercise a bad diet! I don’t care if you workout 3x a day everyday, if you still eat like crap then you’re defeating the purpose of working out. You can’t eat pizza, candy, fried foods, cake, cookies, doughnuts, and etc. every single day of the week and expect to lose weight. Like I’ve said before, eating those things in moderation is fine but you can’t eat them all the time. If you’re working out all the time and you’re still not losing weight then do yourself a favor and check out what you’re eating. Are you having more than one cheat meal a week? Are you drinking enough water and getting all of your servings of fruits and veggies? Are you eating lean proteins and whole grains? Are you watching your fat and sugar intake? Be honest with yourself. Your body keeps an accurate journal of what you eat regardless of whether you write it down or not.
